Reporting of activities and finances
As the foundation was founded in May 2020, our first fiscal year will end in December 2020. The first annual report will be available in 2021.
ANBI requirement 1. 90% requirement (90% eis)
EN: The organisations efforts must be almost entirely focused on the public benefit. This is the 90% requirement.
NL: Uw instelling moet met nagenoeg geheel van al haar activiteiten het algemeen belang dienen. Dit is de 90%-eis.
ECONME's activities, fundraising and spending are 100% and solely focused on the public benefit mission (algemeen nut) of improving women and societies wellbeing (welzijn), health (gezondheidszorg) and development aid (ontwikkelingsamenwerking) by improving the supply security of high-quality, equitably priced contraception. Universal access to contraception to support voluntary, rights-based family planning is central to development aid and Sustainable Development Goals 1:No Poverty; 3. Good Health and Wellbeing; 4. Gender Equality and 10. Reduce Inequalities.
ANBI requirement 2. Profit motive (geen winstoogmerk)
EN: The organisation is not motivated by profit with regards to the entirety of the activities focused on the public benefit.
NL: Uw instelling heeft geen winstoogmerk met het geheel van haar activiteiten die het algemeen belang dienen.
As stated in our articles of association (statuten) foundation ECONME is not motivated by profit.
ANBI requirement 3. Integrity requirements (integriteitseisen)
EN:The organisation and the persons directly involved in the organisation must meet with the integrity requirements.
NL: Uw instelling en de mensen die rechtstreeks bij uw instelling betrokken zijn, voldoen aan de integriteitseisen.
As stated in our articles of association (statuten) ECONME's organisation including its leadership, board, supervisory board, ambassadors, team as well as its expert advisors, partners and consultants meet the integrity requirements.
ANBI requirement 4. Control over assets (zeggenschap over het vermogen)
EN: A natural or legal person may not manage the organisations assets as it is its equity. Directors and policymakers cannot have majority control over the assets of the organisation.
NL: Geen enkel natuurlijk persoon of rechtspersoon mag over het vermogen van de instelling beschikken alsof het zijn eigen vermogen is. Bestuurders en beleidsbepalers mogen geen meerderheid hebben in de zeggenschap over het vermogen van de instelling.
As stated in our articles of association (statuten) there will be a minimum of at least three board members to ensure no single person or legal entity has majority control over ECONME's assets and equity.
ANBI requirement 5. Limited assets (beperkt eigen vermogen)
EN: An ANBI may not have more assets then necessary for the organisations work. For this reason the organisations assets must remain limited.
NL: Uw instelling mag niet meer vermogen aanhouden dan redelijkerwijs nodig is voor het werk van de instelling. Daarom moet het eigen vermogen beperkt blijven.
As stated in our articles of association (statuten) ECONME will not have more assets than necessary for the organisation to work.
ANBI requirement 6. Boards renumiration (beloning beleidsbepalers)
EN: The boards' remuneration must be restricted to an expense allowance or a minimum attendance fee.
NL: De beloning voor beleidsbepalers is beperkt tot een onkostenvergoeding of minimale vacatiegelden.
As stated in our articles of association (statuten) the boards' remuneration is strictly restricted to an expense allowance.
ANBI requirement 7. Policy plan (beleidsplan)
EN: An ANBI must possess an up-to-date policy plan.
NL: Uw instelling heeft een actueel beleidsplan.

ANBI requirement 8. Proportion costs to expenditure (verhouding tussen beheerkosten en bestedingen)
EN: The ANBI’s costs must be in reasonable proportion to its expenditure.
NL: Uw instelling heeft een redelijke verhouding tussen beheerkosten en bestedingen.
As stated in our articles of association (statuten) ECONME's costs of running the organization will be in reasonable proportion to its expenditure on the activities for public good.
ANBI requirement 9. Dissolution (opheffing)
EN: Funds remaining after the dissolution of the organisation must be allocated to a general good objective identical to the organisations objective.
NL: Geld dat overblijft na opheffing van uw instelling wordt besteed aan een ANBI met een soortgelijk doel.
As stated in our articles of association (statuten) if ECONME dissolves the funds will be allocated to a public benefit organisation or ANBI foundation with a similar objective

EN: An ANBI is governed by specific administrative obligations.
NL: Uw instelling voldoet aan de administratieve verplichtingen.
As stated in our articles of association (statuten) ECONME will fulfill its administrative duties.

EN: An ANBI must publish information about the organisation on its own website.
NL: Uw instelling publiceert specifieke gegevens op een eigen of gemeenschappelijke website.
